We are screaming national league like no other time in the last 20 years.  Whilst it was disappointing last year to axe virtually the entire squad was a huge gamble.  Today’s showing I cannot use performance was abysmal.  When a squad shows so little effort on home debut beggars belief.  I could pick out individual players but I’d be here all night.

The coach already looks like a rabbit in the headlights. Some quite frankly baffling changes with those coming on looking equally disinterested.  Before the window closes some seriously good footballers need to come through the door and the coach needs to setup with a formation that suits them.  I fear the worst already and will be placing money on us being relegated based upon todays shambles.

Off the pitch wasn’t a lot better, the legends lounge whilst looking nice had loads of staff but they had as much interest and application as the players.  Would have been quicker to pour my own drink ten of them loitering around serving appropriately three customers at a time.

This needs to be run like a business where you care about your products and consumers.  Neither was good today

To not be able to put a challenge in for division 4 promotion is simply unacceptable. Relying on getting lucky is unacceptable. Having no obvious plan in turning things around is massively unacceptable.
To burden the club with ex-cons is unacceptable.

We're heading that way anyway unless we get new owners, just a lot slower? At least liquidating we'll be rid of the hangers on and can start are recovery quicker.

Obviously ideally I want new owners and rid of the crooks, but that doesn't appear to be an option available to us, does it?

I don't often agree with you but I do here. Our league status is a huge asset and there are no guarantees any phoenix club comes back.

I suppose some may enjoy trying, but there are loads of non league teams around to support already.

I stayed until the end, i did even momentarily put my hands together as players trudged round the pitch, it was barely a “clap” but I’m sure that makes me a “clown” in the eyes of some and that’s fine, doesn’t bother me.
I want Clem and all the hangers on gone, I really do, but I want to still be a league club when that happens, i don’t have a clue how long we need to hang on until that happens, but right now that is what I am doing, I’m hanging on in (possibly forlorn) hope. That for me is why I did my little clap, a poor team after 2 games is still preferable to a poor demoralised team after 2 games.

It feels like a dream at the moment, as far away as the premier league is. It just doesn't seem realistic. Its widely accepted now that buyers have been there as well. The hangers on are killing us.

One way or another we need a clean break and right now there only looks like one way of getting it.

Only if it would be that simple for Morfuni to pack up his traps and simply leave.
Suggest he will be the finish of STFC.
Try to remember all the crap that he has said over the years since being the major shareholder and owner.
The major thing that pushes my button is how "his" club purchased the County ground and he was good enough to gift 50% to the Trust (STFC supporters). Thank you Clem.
Remind, who donated the money and when was this gift donated ?
If what I have been told is correct, basically you had nothing to do with the finances with the purchase and you did not gift the Trust 50%.
