If I ran a business where a repeat customer of 28 years (occasional for 50 overall) suddenly stopped purchasing and I had their email and phone numbers, I would notice that and be in touch to see what the problem was and how I could help resolve it. In my case for non-footballing reason I cannot renew, but I could infrequently attend and spend money. There's been no contact at all. It's not an ego thing on my part  but just a business observation. Clems team either cannot be arsed or are incompetent or a mixture of the two. The buck stops with the owner and his decisions which have shaped how the business is run. For that reason, along with the sentiments already expressed on here which I agree with, sell now and never return.

It was stark walking up to the CG just how much effort they had actually made to the CG during the summer. The stands are starting to look like it needed a fresh coat of paint and the club shop, with the half and half puma/Adidas boards just looks like amateur hour. Fair play to the club for the renovation of the Legends Lounge, that was never going to get universal praise of course, but they have put their hands in their pockets to give the fans a good experience pre-game. Many people also said how good the pitch looked, I agree but if you can't get your pitch looking pristine for the first home game of the season, then you may as well give up. If Clem and Co could be summed up in an emoji it would be the shrug of the shoulders. That's the vibe I'm getting, and if they can't be bothered, why should the paying customers.

I spent £42.50 at the ground on Saturday, including ticket. That worked out at about £1 a minute for the time I bothered staying. Just can't face giving that lot any more money. I'm out until the regime changes, just not enjoying it which is what it should be all about.

Didn't Clem say/commit to doing monthly video updates? I may have missed it but is this another admin error or did I imagine something that wasn't promised?

This.  Been a season ticket holder for many seasons but have not renewed this season due to what goes on behind the scenes at this club.  I have not received any communication regarding lack of renewal, as BOA says, most companies would be asking questions, maybe this club already know the answers.

Just to pick up on the fair play to the club putting their hands in their pocket. Isn't the mandatory JV rent meant to go towards ground improvements? So it's not the club spending as such it isn't instead of the rent which used to go to the council.

It’s a difficult one, they could blanket contact people who hadn’t renewed, but it’s likely that at least one of those has died, imagine the amount of shit they would get if they tried to hassle the family of the dead person.

It would make more sense to put out a blanket message on social media asking for feedback as to why people hadn’t renewed

You are probably right to be fair.

Somebody on FB claimed that Eady estate money was being used on the legends.

I can't think of a single reason why the Eady trust would do that, but I thought I'd mention it.

I did think I remembered something on the Legends, seems it was to be a three way deal and it does appear again in July's notes as a JV update.  To be fair, that is what the JV was designed to do, reinvest the rent money into the ground.

We will moan about absolutely everything, especially right now with how bad things are, but cold calling former customers is a standard business practice and I'd like to think most fans would at least accept that truth.

Found myself watching videos of Barrow home and Walsall away in the Ben Garner season

Our support when everybody is pulling the right direction is phenomenal.

We are a million miles away from that now.

Please do the right thing.
