I think I called this around the Crewe home game, that we don't have any "defensive" players.  We have people playing in roles with the word back/defender in them, but they do not enjoy the dirty work of being a defender.  Minturn & Brewitt like a one on one challenge, but very little else that is required.  Everyone wants to be a ball player first.  My description after that game was that our defence looked as limp as a rich tea biscuit that had been left in the cup for 30 seconds.  It's not improved since then.  You cannot set-up the way we do, with the players we have and expect to maintain any sort of form - the goals against are just killing any chance of that.
