Tails... interesting comments you make.
Watch MF interview after the Doncaster game when 1st thing he was asked was about transfers and Wakelins exit
He was very unsure of himself. Now Flynn is a good talker and suggest he had to tow the company line.
Just supposed Town needed to find cash and had no intenion of getting any further players in before the deadline day timing had expired.
Make up a dodgy story that we had tried and failed to purchase a player for 6 figures.
Keep the supporters onside...Could be totally wrong. But.....!!!

We’re probably going to get Debbie McGee.

There again should a few Australian youth players with potential start arriving in the coming months that could turn the tide. There are definitely good young players coming available especially at Adelaide

and they'll be youngsters that you wouldn't expect turn any sort of profit or play a part in the senior team in the short to medium term.

Don't underestimate the quality of talent in the Australian league... trouble is other clubs are fishing in the same pond.

There are several 18 year olds playing for Adelaide utd that would have similar futures as Young and Wakelin currently

NZ lads have recently been signed up for American teams German leagues and obviously in England

Chances are they will never be good enough to get a work permit unless they have British grandparent.

Sure I read rules were being changed about that to allow a couple of 'foreign' players in the squad who wouldn't normally meet work-permit requirements.

I am sure the Visa rules are pretty lax for such sort of ex Colonies - London's hospitality business would be dead on it's feet without Aussies staffing the bars.
