I don’t get it?

Holloway would come under the coach umbrella, no?

Out of work players / managers have agents don’t they.

I don't think the issue is whether he is allowed an agent or not - it is definitely his choice if he uses one or not. I think the issue is that in his first interview he talked about having spoken with an agent and everything happen so quickly he never even signed anything with them.  If that agent was the one who connected him with STFC or represented him in getting the job, and did so without Holloway signed a representation agreement with him, then he has broken an FA rule (assuming the agent was FA registered....if he wasn't, you don't need the agreement signed but then I am guessing it is a whole other problem using an unlicensed agent!!).

I am erring towards it being a minor storm in a teacup.

The Sun Journo gets wind of there may be an issue and he pokes the club with a shitty stick to see what falls out.

Thats basically what The Sun do all the time, sometimes it finds gold sometimes the stick just comes out as shitty as it went in at both ends.

Might be an omen.

Just had a call from my brother in Corsham and he found Holloway’s wallet in the street! He lives in Box apparently. Had all his cards, bank details, the lot. Lucky fella.

How utterly random. Adds up though. In his first interview last week, Ollie said he lived 14 miles from the training ground. Box is...14.8 miles from Beversbrook

He did seem put out that he didn't have an office at the training ground...

The club ‘assiting the FA with enquiries’ over this agent thing

Adver think if you use an agent you have to be signed and registered with them, Holloway said he werent

Weve probably got the FA on speed dial

This feels like the sort of thing that shouldn't top the crack 60 or 70 things the authorities should be investigating us for right now. But so is the way.

Probably boils down to with whom money exchanged hands, and when.

Who was the fella from Swindon?

Willing to bet it was probably a match day guest and definitely not a Vice Chairman.
