Who was the fella from Swindon?
Willing to bet it was probably a match day guest and definitely not a Vice Chairman.

Jimmy. You are right on the money. Holloway seems to say it as it is and agree with him saying this present squad has lots of skills about it.
Before Flynn lost it (due to 3 players short) he would have got a tune of this squad.
My feelings are Holloway will. We can only hope.

It’s a shame the club didn’t want to put the video up of Holloway having a pop at the adver journo because he didn’t like an article in the week.
Prick.

Can’t help but think Holloways’s passion for the game will also be his downfall and when things don’t go his way his hotheadedness will get him in trouble.

What a fantastic job Holloway is doing. Has he won you all over yet? Wasn't a popular appointment with a fair few I've spoken with and has never really been one many of you wanted on this forum. I must admit he's doing even better than I thought he would with the club in the current state it's in. Hope it continues and he stays next season

A very good and insightful watch, thanks 4D. Nope never liked the bloke and whilst you cannot ignore what he has done since arriving at the CG his behaviour at Bradford towards the travelling fans was appalling. For someone with his experience to behave in that way only added to my dislike of the man.

I mean I wasn’t exactly against Holloway but did he think might be a past it dinosaur who would be more (un)comical sound bites than anything else. His last job at Grimsby was not good & he’s been out the game for 4 years since. Definitely felt like his time in the sun has gone. Also assumed maybe the chance to hit 1,000 games in Management was more of a draw than being Swindon manager. However, I was open to the idea because I personally was sick of these new age Pep wannabe managers who are trying to get extremely limited players to play football like prime Barcelona - so was definitely onboard with going a bit more ‘old school’ I think we all thought Kennedy as a major problem with this team & holding it back but I don’t think any of us expected quite this level of turn around. Improvement from every outfield player.

This is how I feel. I just don't like the bloke but not arguing with his success so far. It reminds me of how some people felt about McMahon and di Canio. Can't argue with the fact they both won titles but neither were universally popular .
