Its hard to disagree with this. However, even with some of the mess around the club, i suspect there are some people that look at this club in 22nd and say i can improve it and then leave swiftly afterwards, Garner style. As per comments elsewhere, and as i've said multiple times across the last appointments, quite apart from their football coaching/managerial ability, they also need to be leader for the club. They need to have the charisma and charm that Clem/Hall lack. Wellens is often talked about, and shit was not perfect under Power, but boy did Wellens do a good job of making you forget about Power. Thats the appointment Clem needs. |
