Does this mean Gav is free to visit our partner Academy in Australia again?

He's making frozen margs for Clem, resplendent in Sexy Beast budgie smugglers, by the pool as we speak.

Moving on from Gav & appointing Kennedy is a step forward.
Whether it’s a step forward onto a forward moving treadmill or into a massive hole - remains to be seen…

I’m hoping it will be enough to keep us in the football league at least, anything beyond that is a bonus

Seeing comments that he’s friends with Lee Power?

I’d take all that with a pinch of salt

Presumably he'll revert to his crucial role as loan manager.

Not sure anyone suggested your info was anything but likely to be spot on, did they?

It's not earth shattering, a club that has been managerless for months, appointing a sacked youngish Manager and likely having direct or indirect connections to some of the people in our clubs orbit.

Honestly, only joking guys. 5 players is still on as far as I’m aware.

Whilst this is going on, Charlie Austin is enjoying his golf, patiently watching what is going on.

Flynn is in the frame for the Cheltenham job which may affect his decisions.

As ever, it's a case of giving a new manager their chance.
Won more than he lost at Lincoln.

Demonstrating an ability to win football matches here is much more important than what comes out of his mouth or what Imps fans say.

The struggle for 22nd place in 2024-25 looms on the horizon.

Back yer man Morfuni. (You cunt).

Our personal recruiter Paul Nicholls is also good acquaintances of Power.

It took me a minute - both involved in the past with Keith Cousins, architect of the Rushden & Diamonds demise.  Nichols had a business registered out of the same address as Cousins and was mentioned as being brought onboard at R&D through Elite Management.  Keith having also been John Terry's agent, whose wife was a partner in a Horse Racing business with Paul.  Lee and Keith were also together at the publishing firm Lee bankrupted, well, it folded but he wasn't there then, a bit like his Merc in Geneva.

Football is a small old world at times.  All the ones who avoid running a pub seem to know how to extract a living out of it well beyond their playing days.

Has the appointment made any difference to my non renewing of my ST as yet, and have to say not really. It helps that at long last something has a slight positive slant on the current situation but in no way is it near the major changes that we would like to see. As usual off we go again into the unknown.   Hmmm

Not going to judge him on his Macclesfield spell. He came in there in January during Covid.

His record at Lincoln looks fine, more wins and draws than losses, 34% isn’t too bad and a good defensive record.

Good academy coaching pedigree as well.

Most important thing is to bring in decent players.

Anyone expecting a sale would have been in cloud cuckoo land. Potentially Kennedy is a good appointment - let’s see how it goes…

How’s that?

I can see the difficulties with it (exposing potential criminality, for one) but why is it so impossible for the hapless owners of a near-insolvent business, in a market full of buyers (the evidence is there) to be considering a sale? Andrew Fitton thought it was possible. Is he also in cloud cuckoo land?

Doesn’t say who his coachimg staff are going to be does it? So every likelihood Gunning will be part of it.

This appointment is just more of the same for me. Doesn’t seem like an appointment based on football merit, rather that he’s aligned with the crooks lurking in the background as too many links to the lurkers.
