Seen that mentioned in a couple of places. Could be something, but he wasn’t the only one that gave his shirt to a fan yesterday.
Wasn't the other Blake-Tracy? Doesn't bode well if we don't keep Brynn.

Someone asked Brynn for his shirt before the game, then someone said they spoke to him after and he said he wasnt going anywhere

Think so yes. Brynn going would be huge loss. There’s at least one Kovar for every BFG out there, difficult to know which we get until too late.

There is a video and one of Hutton or Lavinier gives their shirt to someone in the crowd by the tunnel.

Haven't read back but almost certainly won't be able to add anything new on what was a terrific performance on Saturday. My main takeaways from the game.
Charlie Austin was terrific. I was internally sceptical as to how good he could be at this stage of his career and he proved me wrong. Everything he did was just class forward play, he did nothing fancy, just played the centre forward role to perfection. Bringing the ball down, chesting the ball off to teammates and burying his headed chance. Very unlucky not to score more, hit the bar and had another shot blocked. Tremendous first game.
The whole team just seemed to have the shackles taken off of them. What was evident from me was early on we were even using throw ins to start attacks, balls being thrown in such a way for players to run onto, I don't think I have seen us do that all season have we? Yes the red card almost certainly changed the game but we were getting the upper hand and second half was very much like Walsall last season, we could have easily scored 7 or 8. Really positive to see a strong home performance in front of a large crowd. More of the same please!

I do think we might be picked off by better teams as we looked exposed before the sending off. Obviously we were playing a different way for the fist time so we would improve.
But it would still be so much better than boring dull football where we probably get picked off eventually anyway.
Not that we would necessarily play the same way against the "better" teams.

Almost certainly. I think there will be a lot more games finishing 3-2 than we've seen prevoiusly. I think to be fair to them Grimsby came and gave it a good go and did look dangerous until they had a man sent off. We definitely have enough fire power in the team to get on the front foot, particularly at home.

Just watching the extended highlights - I forgot that Khan hit the inside of the post early on. Really good effort

He did and we hit the post twice more after too wasnt it? IIRC and the defender who nearly kneed the ball in at the near post and then the Lavinier shot fumble saved on the line by the keeper. It could easily have been 8+ goals.
