Saw that Adeloye chance on my phone. It should lead to an instant contract cancellation. And a £10k fine for Statto Sandro. WTAF

I am pleased to see SL get a win and get us back on track. The manner in which we secured the 3 points is of secondary importance.

Probably fair enough then! Although odd not to put Massey on the bench ahead of him if he travelled with the side?

Interested to know what people thought tactically - to me that looked like Plan A done a bit better rather than any significant changes, but open to being enlightened!

And in the BBC’s latest round of genius decisions, BBC Wilts is no longer available outside the U.K. at any time.

Hoping to sell the feckin rights perhaps?

Darcy going off first makes more sense then. Fair enough.

I'm typically an optimistic fan but man I feel so meh after that. In isolation it's a big win and could serve us some huge confidence, but how we didn't score from open play despite our dominance and press in the first half and had to rely on a penalty is a big cause for concern. Defensively I thought we were absolutely fine and a clean sheet deserved, but going forwards still a huge concern.

1st half Barrow were as poor as any side we have faced, 2nd half they were marginally better but the weather was the leveller, we could and should have won by more except for poor finishing and a few good saves.

Every win counts but Barrow are nowhere near play off candidates on that showing.

Hutton and Lavinier the 2 best players for me. Shade and Williams did well and Reed back to closer to his standard again, FBT did well in defence too and Wakeling lively up front.

Can only beat whats in front of you, and we did.

RHM looked really lively when he came on but oh dear Adeloye had a fantastic 1 on 1 chance to score his first goal and failed miserably taking one too many touches rather than shooting.
I think he took 3 or 4 too many touches!

Plan A with the oppo standing off us completely and a bit more impetus to shoot. Shots welcome but not convinced that this is eveidence of the changes we’d been hoping for. More evidence and a 2nd half without a monsoon, needed.

While it feels a poor start and there has been some fucking awful games, we're in 4th. January coming up, a few big signings and players coming back from injury could really push us on.
