Much the better team until the rain. Nervy as anything after. Somehow, we're fourth!

Definitely an improvement although a lot of the same issues - not scoring from open play is disappointing, but there you go.

Goodness me. Glad to get a win, hope it kick starts something, but still not convinced overall. We shouldn’t have been hanging on like we were considering how Barrow rolled out the red carpet for us in that first half.

Great battling performance.

From what I could see both Adeloye and Hepburn Murphy had very good chances to make it two.

But I was looking at the time indicator in the top left hand corner most of the time - without even knowing the time added.  Pint

The weather played its part but that was a truly atrocious second half with Adeloye adding the icing and cherry on top quality wise.  Blank that from the memory and just bank the win.  Such a poor league, a few additions could at least make the play offs look more secure.

Looks like RMH stayed down and had treatment after the whistle.

Christ! Buzzin after that? That was an awful watch in the second half. We should have killed the game and made it 0-3 at half time. Their keeper made a couple of good saves. RHM was unlucky at the end. Odeloye did well to shave off a defender and be through 1 on 1 with the keeper, but had no idea what to do!

1st half Barrow were as poor as any side we have faced, 2nd half they were marginally better but the weather was the leveller, we could and should have won by more except for poor finishing and a few good saves.

Every win counts but Barrow are nowhere near play off candidates on that showing.

Hutton and Lavinier the 2 best players for me. Shade and Williams did well and Reed back to closer to his standard again, FBT did well in defence too and Wakeling lively up front.

Can only beat whats in front of you, and we did.

RHM looked really lively when he came on but oh dear Adeloye had a fantastic 1 on 1 chance to score his first goal and failed miserably taking one too many touches rather than shooting.

Phew, squeaky bum time, especially with all those Barrow corners.  Huh?

3 points for Christmas, thank you Santa!   Football
