The 'So Legal Stadium' sounds like it has something to hide. Is this legal? Oh yeah it's so legal!

We're in Barrow for our next League Two fixture today...

The pitch passed an early inspection this morning and another is scheduled at midday.

We'll keep you posted🤞🏻

Another victory for Mick Lynch & the forces of darkness.
His level of fanaticism is greater than mine on this occasion.

Tough game today.
An astute managerial appointment by Barrow is to be applauded.
A win would see us go above them.
Looking forward to watching on iFollow, if it goes ahead.
Hopefully not a tale of a shambolic late call off with people well into their journeys.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

Suspect pitch will be fine, what may knock it on the head is the rain falling on the cold ground and freezing, roads and pavements here are bloody lethal this morning, as is the A590 (only main road from M6 to Barrow) apparently.

I think strike support is starting to wayn in the tracks. Lynch was very ropey on radio 4 the other day, he's normally quite good

Anyway it's a fook of a long way to go in the form we are in. And because you've not gone we'll win 2-0

A win would see the Boxing Day crowd in a better frame of mind that's for sure.

Barrows great start to the season has slowed down lately with their last 3 results being 0-5. 2-3, 3-1, 0-1 and 0-1 so 4 defeats in 5.

By comparison we have only won 1 game in 6 with us losing 2 and drawing 3.

Thier top scorer is Josh Gordon on 10 and he is followed by Billy Waters on 7 and Ben Whitfield on 5.

They are managed by ex England manager Peter Wild (England Amputee football team that is) and he has a record of 85 wins from his 183 games as manager, he has won 44.44% of all his games in change of Barrow winning 12 of the 27 games so far.

In the 6 previous meetings between the 2 sides Swindon have won 3 and Barrow 2 with the single draw, Swindon scoring 8 goals and Barrow 5. In games at Barrow its level with 1 win 1 draw and 1 defeat each Town scoring 4 and Barrow 3 times, our only defeat up there coming last season in the 0-2 defeat.

Connections between the clubs.

They have Jordan Stevens there who had an unsuccessful loan spell at Swindon.

We have Remeao Hutton who had a fairly successful season at Barrow playing in almost every game before joining Swindon as well as Jake Wakeling who had a very unsuccessful spell at Barrow only managing 5 games during a 6 month loan spell from Leicester City.

They have midfielder Josh Kay banned for the next 6 games gafter he has been found in breach of FA Rule E3.2, following his sending off during Barrow v Leyton Orient on Saturday 24th September 2022. [Should the comments include a reference to any one or more of a person or person's ethnic origin, colour, race, nationality, faith, gender, sexual orientation or disability, these are considered 'aggravating factors' and FA Rule E3(2) may apply.]

Barrow seem to prefer playing the 4231 formation

Passed a Barnes coach on the M6 up to Holyhead.

So Jordan Lyden didn't sign for them in the end?
