defensively we are totally stuffed through injuries. must be risky playing MacDonald. just unlucky in that department

who else we missing? jephcott, khan and Gladders. That's not quite strong enough in depth in attack.

yeah, defensively we are unlucky. we had cover but it's all broken

I wasn't clear but I mean midfield and attack. surely it's more than 3 out in this positions

It was in response to quags "not a stronger squad".

What I'm getting at is other than defensively I think I agree

@dv, Aguiar on bench.

Considering we have "state of the art" medical facities and team we have way more injuries this term than we have in a long time.

And a real lack of depth of quality all over the squad in pretty much every position.

Don't see any/many goals there. See a potential for the odd slip up or two. Think it's going to be a horrible game.

Looking at that, it baffles me how some people seem to think we have a better squad this year than last.
We really don’t.

Brennan
Harries
Clayton
Devine
Gladwin
Khan
Jephcott

…all out injured. How would we have coped last season with the equivalent out injured?

So, let’s say;

Baudry
Conroy
Odimayo
Hunt
Gladwin
Reed
Davison

I know he’s on the bench but (depending on formation) I’d see no harm in playing him ahead of Iandolo

I see what you are saying.

I just feel we’ve filled the squad with a lot of average players, and there isn’t much quality. If the players you have listed were injured last season, we’d still have McKirdy, Payne, Barry and Williams on the pitch.

At the moment, we have Williams, and that’s it.

If that makes any sense, I know what I mean.

I predict we will win possession game by 61% to 39%.  I expect us to have 8 shots off target 0 on target.  3-0 defeat with us continuing our coaches post match incredibly unlucky summaries.

Arguably more depth, less individual quality but also more injuries.

I know what you mean and you know what I mean!

If that’s the case, then Lindsey is performing better than Garner.

Sandro to Chorley not to much.

So, let’s say;

Baudry
Conroy
Odimayo
Hunt
Gladwin
Reed
Davison

Wollacott

Iandolo
Egbo
O'Brien
Minturn

Lyden (although the idea of having an injury crisis not involving Lyden is odd)
East
Williams

Payne
Barry
McKirdy

Bench would be pitiful... Ward, Parsons, Aguiar, Dabre and some youths. We were *really* thin squad wise at the back end of last season.

We'll have a lot of box entries though and we'll play to our brand.

if he plays like he did at Bradford, I do

…Iandolo hasn’t exactly been great this season has he?
Plus, Aguiar will hit one from distance every once on a while

Which would be a vast improvement on our current attacking play
