Good win to silence the negativity on here

Certainly happy to get the win, but don't think you'd need to try that hard to have a few negatives from that performance. Colchester were absolutely awful.

Colchester fans seem furious that our winner was offside, anyone got a clip?

Great 3 points, but we have to find a way of converting possession into chances.

Off to a Jazz Night - probably Greek Jazz - but what the hell. Still shorts and flip flop weather.

For those that havent seen the goal or thought it was an OG here it is. Definate prod in the right direction by Shade and rightly given the goal.

And not offside, despite what I've seen a few U's fans say.

Wasn’t there but relieved we got the job done. You can only beat what’s in front of you. A few more goals would have been nice but it’s 3 points and another clean sheet and certainly seems like we were trying to be positive going forwards with plenty of shots, possession and corners.

I’m still expecting some January transfer movement from us. Stay in touch until then and I think we can consider the re-build to be fairly successful.

Not seen a performance yet that has made me think we could get promoted, like away at FGR last year for instance.

Hopefully there is lots still to come in attack, but we are not consistently causing other teams problems so far, and not sure I would be doing much different with the players we have got.

Then again, 8th having played the top 3 already, don’t think there is too much to be worried about in this division.

It's an odd thing to describe.

Totally dominant, about a million crosses and corners. Got the ball forward quicker. Ruled out of a perfectly good goal. And yet..

Only 2 real clear cut chances. One taken in a fortunate manner.

Jephcott a focal point but not really a goal threat in this system .

We seem reluctant to try anything else. Even subs are like for like.

Think I'm just going to be happy with what were a deserved three points and ignore the bigger picture for now.

…probably the worst goal I’ve seen Swindon score is 30 odd years.
Obviously Shade gets props for making the run and being in the right place…but…as an actual finish.

Maybe I was too harsh earlier, you could plausibly call that a shot of sorts.
