I was at Ewood Park, right behind the goal, when Stan Collymore scored this:

How many goalkeepers stopped marking the middle of their goal like that after that incident?

All of them as you aren’t allowed to do it, it’s a booking now.

I dont think you will find that was Tim Flowers mate.

Flowers was a very very good goalkeeper with great hands. You don't get 11 England caps without having some talent TBH.
Oh yes, I remember Flowers being very good.

But, sometimes footballers get given nicknames they don’t deserve.

Not wishing to upset those delicate posters but are we allowed to make the Flowers or Seaman analogy any more or will some poor darling get offended?

I understand that Evans doesnt turn 21 until October so the first 3 months of that loan is a development loan so doesnt count towards their long-term loan limit, under the Vanarama loan rules those count as youth/training loans. But the extra 1 month loan on top of that 3 months is a bit odd as that extra month will become a single month short term loan.

A good move for a few months get him game time and maybe a move to a team a league higher after it if he does impress.

Swindon Town Football Club can confirm squad numbers for the 2025/26, Sky Bet EFL League Two campaign, subject to EFL approval.

A new contract for Connor Ripley and a new number for our goalkeeper as he takes the number one shirt, while Tom Nichols' return sees him take the number seven shirt previously worn by Joel Cotterill. Paul Glatzel, Aaron Drinan, and Joel McGregor will stick with their shirt numbers following signing of their new contracts.

Midfielder, Danny Butterworth, swaps from number twenty-two to number fourteen ahead of the new season, and Goalkeeper, Redman Evans, moves from number thirty-seven to twenty-seven.

If he takes the No.2 off him it basically says you’re not wanted here, then after that hard to progress here. Sounded like he’s had a good pre season so perhaps staying put for now, especially with the McGregor injury.
