Well, the socks aren't blown off but he seems a competent pro. Bit of height in midfield.

Seems a good steady eddy. Can cover at CB too 😁

Will contribue more than Caine I suspect. I'm looking at it as that kind of replacement, not like for like though

Wiki has that as his stats for Rochdale in the 22/23 season. Maybe whichever poor fucker they've pushed Social Media onto as a 15th job missed the Wimbledon seasons under that.

14 games last year. Reserve or injured?

Pretty much had issues with injuries recently. Not played very much football, if at all in 2025. Popular with Wimbledon fans, and handy to have a CM/CB

Give me Ripley!

Edit - though didn't Joe Acklam say on Fools Rush In he's currently in South Africa. So i doubt it's him. My money's on Drinan.

For the first time in many years - I’m happy to trust the manager on this one.

Doesn’t look like a top tier signing on paper but *shrugs*

Edit - not as concrete as I initially thought so I may have peaked early!

Wimbledon fans seem to rate him, so he passes the first sniff test

Was out for 4 months injured - has played 1 league minute since November due to it. However did feature heavily before that injury and was also captain for a few league games.

From my Dons supporting friend:
A lot of our fans really like him, I’m not so convinced. Primarily a central midfielder, but in my opinion not mobile enough/good enough to get into our midfield 2, but probably decent in a 3. Did really well as a stand in centre back, but nowhere near good enough to get in there when our proper centre backs were fit, but we were blessed with 5 excellent centre backs last season.
Seemed to have a great attitude and get on really well with the fans, but rumours that he fell out with Jackson near the end, but understandable as must’ve been frustrated at not getting a sniff and rumours that he had a bad attitude at his previous club, but sure Holloway won’t take any shit from him.

Never played higher than L2. Squad player for the next year or so until we get out of this league.

For the first summer in a long time we're not looking at every new signing hoping to box they're halfway decent because we're going to have to build the core of the first team from them.

This is the way squad building should be done, with 75% of your first team in place, strengthening areas of weakness and rounding out the squad.

I think Oldaker and Kilkenny will start but good to have the cover in both areas. Needed the size as well. Not sure why the second towel was put out.....
