So as we've just lost our (unbelievably) longest serving player, who's due for their testimonial next?

Minturn into his 3rd year as a pro?

Minturn has been at the club ages but March 22 as a pro. Khan in July 22 from the non-youth.

This generations Thomas Dossevi.
First few games ‘wow, he looks decent’ never to replicate that type of performance again…

We'll always have the Walsall 5-0 game to look back fondly on.

Here's where the squad sits today.

First XI good, second XI horrifying.

I can see 3 if not 4 of those gone before the end of the transfer window, if that happens we need at least 7 in.

At least another CB, LWB, AM & ST
Maybe another CM but *think* if we got another AM in Cain could drop back into the CM depth chart.

As our recruitment seems based on ‘have they played for Swindon’ has Tom Clayton turned up anywhere yet? Fully fit Tom Clayton probably gets in that XI or is 4th in the CB depth chart - we could do a lot worse. Is Clayton injury prone or has he just had a massively unlucky 12 months. He was fine before then.

He also got injured while Morris was here didn't he?

So only fit for 3/4 of a season

Didn’t play between December 3rd & February 4th but outside of that he played most weeks.

I think I've made this joke before, but if he hadn't been released by us, we'd definitely be looking at him. Perhaps more last season than this, he's not old enough for this season.

Obviously he might want to get as far away from Swindon as possible and he might still be injured.

…but…IF he was interested and IF he was fit.

Absolutely no harm in giving him pre-season…
