Why the club didn’t give any update on the pitch and whether the game was in doubt as there are fans that travel from outside the area.

To be fair to the club, it might just have been the case that the ref told them he wanted to inspect the pitch when he arrived, and they (quite rightly) thought there was going to be no problem with it.

I'd also like to ask if there's any possibility of having more selection of pies available in the DRS. Something like a steak pie would be a good option, and wouldn't need any change to the equipment

Andy when is the next meeting please?

And also are the Trust taking ownership of publishing their own minutes to their members, or allowing the club to continue to doctor and manipulate them?

The next meeting is TBC, but it's due to be in January.

We do not plan to publish our own minutes, we are working with all parties to ensure minutes are as accurate as they can be (commercial sensitivity permitting).

What does "working with all parties" mean specifically, and why would you not just record your own minutes for your members?

To be fair to the Trust, when you have mixed parties, you usually do have a combined minutes, to ensure nobody uses their own interpretations or perceptions of what they thought they heard.  You only fall back on individual ones when that agreement cannot be reached, which speak volumes in of itself.

Your last sentence is most pertinent, and exactly where we are. The notes were provably inaccurate.

Is there an approval chain on the notes? Presuming no, given the state of them.

The TOR of the meeting is in flux, feel free to ask info@truststfc.com as part of the upcoming AB for confirmation of the AB process and minuting

Not trying to be dismissive but it's a point/question for the Trust and it's members, not the running of the AB or the club.

We won't be engaging with the AB; it's provably disfunctional and the answers are often provably untrue.

As I understand it, all parties are sent a copy of the minutes before they are published. These were done by Mandie and have to be agreed before being sent out.  More than one group raised concerns at the last set that were sent as they weren’t correct and questions were filtered out. They were published anyway and led to her demise - rightly so.

As very much NOT In the Know and a supporter of both SO69 and a member of the Trust, is anyone able to explain to me  - and presumably other Townend posters and lurkers - what this apparent clashing between the 2 entities is about?

I had understood that they were distinct entities with distinct objectives.

I don't think it's really clashing exactly, just the Trust still believe in engaging with the current ownership of the club to try and get closer to a well run club, whereas so69 isn't interested in working with the current ownership, only removing it.

Speaking for two groups I'm not part of there so they may correct me.

The so69 position presumably is that you legitimise the ownership by engaging with them, the Trust position presumably is that you might as well try and get some of what you want even if all of it is out of reach.

Not sure it's a clash

My POV is we haven't had an AB since November, we're hopeful everything returns to smooth sailing and the AB returning to it's original purpose going forwards with added bells and whistles in terms of minutes going out.

As a matter of course I don't think having alternative minutes would be beneficial.
Obviously if things aren't smooth sailing we retain the right to another path.

so69 are entitled to have their approach to not engage with the AB, as a Trust Board member I think being inside the tent is better as I think it's not unreasonable to say we have a broader range of interests that so69 at this stage
