Payne tries a lob from half way line.

Puts us back under pressure.

Although foul on Iandolo burns time.

Payne tries a chip from 45 yards but its saved.

Didn't really look on.

FT 2-1 damn good win under the circumstances against a difficult side.

Deeply uncomfortable, but think that will be a fantastic result looking back. Horrible team to play against and three points on the road. We were brilliant in the first 30 and they only scored from the spot - plenty to be pleased with, even if it wasn't utterly convincing thereafter.

Didn't expect that. Didn't think we could defend a 1 goal lead.

Phew. Not sure we exactly managed the game in the second half but we did enough to keep them out, and they didn't really have a great deal of quality. A nothing second half, which suited us.

100% watching Sutton's agricultural style was not an experience I would want to repeat too often. We made fucking hard work of it though

Good result that.  Thought we had them on toast for the first 30 minutes - not in terms of domination but in terms of looking a real threat everytime we attacked with pace and on the floor or moved them about.  Second half we got a little frenetic after feeling the pressure from their long balls and knowing they had the beating of us in the air.  Fortunately, we still carried a threat and McKirdy could, maybe should, have had a hat trick.  In the end they didn't really create much but that is the way of their style - it's scrappy and sometimes it falls differently.  I'd imagine they have done well because of it - teams get worried even if it isn't effective and before you know it a second ball has dropped to onw of their players and in it goes.  Today we didn't get any unlucky bounces really and the players can't be faulted for effort.
