How do we get Williams into the team as it dosen't make sense having that quality on the bench so maybe try him at left wing back as previously stated.

I would. If he can do it for Wales.

I'm sure he didn't drop down to league 2 to be on the bench

He's just not very good is he. Quite comical at times really.
He wasn't today or at Bristol rovers. I thought he did well against fgr but I watched it on the box.

I think he could be useful if he can get that consistency.

But today he should have been subbed, not mckirdy

Really disappointed today.  We've been at it last few games away from home but can't seem to cope with the press at home.   Certainly wasn't dull but the statuesque defending is a concern.

Williams, Mckirdy and KKH must start on Tuesday.

Every away team so far has pressed us high- until we can adapt to deal with it home results won’t improve
Agree with this, we just can't seem to penetrate teams that come to the CG and park the bus. Got to learn to break these teams down. Credit where it's due, they did their homework.

That's probably because that's all there was !!. (Other than the injury time bombardment of their goal).

I was lead to believe that there were 4 goals scored.

Steel yourself for when the glitches are ironed out then. Could be a riveting watch.

I thought Dales second was bad watching it live but seeing it in the highlights it’s even worse. Why did everyone just stop and watch?

Draw at home, win away. That would still work.

Maybe a couple of changes for Tuesday?
JJW should have gotten over the fatigue and as the no 1 should start.
I suspect that KKH at his best is better in the RWB role than Hunt at his best.
Tough on both Ward & Hunt as they both have enough credits in the bank to start against Sutton.

Williams is an interesting one.
On paper, at 28 should be at his peak and playing every week at this level.
Just wondering how many of his 190 odd career appearances have been from the bench?
Hopefully the injuries haven't taken their toll.
For the moment I'd have him as first change if we are chasing the game.
I'm sure he'll get a run if he stays fit and others start to pick up injuries or lose form.

Intrigued also by the LWB role being the first one mentioned whenever a TEF team tinker is mooted.
To my albeit relatively untrained eye Iandolo looks to be the best option we have in that role and doesn't appear to have done anything majorly wrong when playing there.
If we revert back to a 4 then the debate does change.
If a specialist LWB is recruited in Jan then all well & good, but on current form he deserves his place.

Would have been interesting to see Dominic Thompson in this side.
Think he was on the bench for Brentford last night, no idea if he’s had any game time in the Prem this season.

Vs Ipswich Dom Thompson is exactly what this team could do with - if we’re going to stick with wing backs.

Good shout as he was class away at Ipswich and knew how to bomb down the left wing.

For those who haven't seen the goals.

Watching it live, I was convinced Payne was tugged back, hence all the players stopping. Watching it back I'm far from convinced though...
