Pitch work delayed to start for two weeks
Where did you get that? Not doubting, just not seen.

Also what do you mean, that it's 2 weeks behind schedule? I assume it's currently growing!

I did see the pitch talk event has been postponed, just not the pitch delay!

Yes it was posted on FB earlier about the delays, not sure how official the post was though.

Delays to what though - readyness?

I assume its not a "can't play second week" issue

This is not expected to be an issue for the start of the season, with the first home game not until Cambridge United visit Wiltshire on August 9.

I think the adver are now writing up Holloway's presser from Friday which he basically said he hasn't a pitch at the CG to use yet. In an idea word would have liked a home friendly. Looking at the pics Matt Povey post would suggest it's growing.

I’m assuming they have to do the stitching after the pitch has grown?

Very much this. I think it's far too easy to look for the negatives these days. This is also an important position that has needed to be filled quickly, and we've done it.

Nahh, we should be 100% negative, 100% of the time. We should also jump on any attempt at lightening a mood as well, and just drag everyone into an unrelenting depressive state.

As you say, it's one of the seemingly good moves that Town have done, in what should be a normal kind of process. We have become accustomed to some substandard practices under this regime, so it's refreshing to see a ''normal'' move.

They did add, however, they could return to the table if circumstances change, and indicated they were still looking at the possibility of investing in other League Two or League One clubs.

I guess they don't want to trade while knowingly insolvent?|
