If the turnstile operations are not the result of staffing cuts, then that makes it even worse. That means they are making people queue on purpose - maybe because the stock runs out even without customers inside to buy it?
I wasn't being entirely serious.... Some think these lot can manage developing a ground. They can't even publish minutes from a meeting.
Not strictly correct, they have published their interpretation of minutes from a meeting.... I think the interesting bit will be where the Trust expand on what they don;t agree with, especially as the minutes say literally nothing!

Probably one of the most intriguing and worrying answers was the claim that Morfuni will be funding the DR development (again, always adding a caveat here, there may be no plan to ever get this to development).
Yeah that one caught my eye, and if correct (I remain entirely unconvinced) frankly bloody flabbergasts me*! TBH the main thing that caught my eye was the planning consultants they have chosen, I can understand why the consultancy in Swindon won't want to work with the club as IIRC they were fucked over by Power (a dispute inherited by Morfuni), plus they didn't give me a job when I interviewed there 25+ years back , but they have gone for one of the very big boys and will be paying top dollar for it which would appear to be metal if they don't plan to develop (unless I suppose they are counting on the Trust saying nada!)! * I suppose one thing is what if any credit rating the various companies have meaning that 'normal' development finance, which literally anyone would use, may not be an option for the club.

Can we ask him for proof of funds?

Have to admire the amount of times “stitching the pitch” is mentioned. Something that they had to have asked of them and possibly had to take money out of the playing budget for.
It’s like they latch onto these few bare minimum things that they should be doing as a football club and parade it as feats to be celebrated for ages to cover up the shortcomings elsewhere.

I can't quite put my finger on whether I think they plan to get to Planning Consent on the DR development + some less concrete Business Case style Master Plan that they can layer into any potential sale of business, or whether they want to get to the next stage and get contracts signed. I am far less of the opinion they actually want to get to shovels in the ground (it is not impossible if he can't shift the club). Given potential value expected by selling STFC, he really needs something to hang his shirt on that adds any type of value other than owing debt.

Batch would have gone out there with a needle and synthetic thread if only they had offered a Pizza. Shame they ran out.

I'd have done it for a pot noodle, but even that requires hot water

Given our idea to take Liverpool's old seats from them, it's a shame Morfuni wasn't more on the ball and got the discarded portacabin Exec Boxes from Luton a year or so back. Could have had them on the Bank, much cheaper. Must be stuff going from Goodison soon?

Good point - I just think if the trust and so69 block these proposals it will delay and make any future sale of the club more difficult. If their aim is to make life difficult for the owners then crack on but it’s not necessarily the best thing for the club’s future.

We all know what’s holding up any potential sale of the club…and…it’s not planning permission for boxes in the DRS, is it?
