1) No reason why the trust couldn’t make season ticket holders members or associate members with voting rights - it would be more democratic than those with strong views paying £20 to vote. 2) The supporters club is independent of the club - more so than the trust actually because they aren’t involved in the JV
Refer to my post - there was a lot of work done with lawyers to get it structured how it was to satisfy the needs of the deal.

Thanks. My view is that all season ticket holders should have voting rights - not just those who pay to be members of the trust. If that meant long term an extra tenner on the price of a season ticket I’d be all for that. Note: all season ticket holders are automatically members of the supporters club.
It's the legal structure of JV isn't it? Every season ticket holder could have joined the trust and got voting rights for less than £20 Edit: ok just caught up and we've gone past this.

Some light reading in our slightly labyrinthine JV section of the website https://truststfc.com/the-county-ground/

Bob does have one point worth further discussion, and that was in relation to my posed question, which is o what extent this is about developing the ground vs. trying to increase the value of the business ahead of any sale. As DV mentioned, from a buyers prospective, the ownership and operational entanglement issues are the single biggest hurdle preventing people moving beyond interest to intent (I cannot say how, but I know this for a fact). From Morfuni's though, this may be a way to get some cash upfront vs. the other scenario of people offering to pay his debt back, maybe over time.
I honestly don't think the uplift in value in having an extant consent would be that large, especially considering the costs associated with obtaining the consent. Whatever the club might be claiming, he obviously doesn't have a pot of sufficient capacity to remotely fund building anything so at best its the uplift between without and with consent. The majority of works are pretty neutral in planning terms plus they are pushing at an open door with the Council I suspect. I also suspect as much of an issue with the ground and JV is the fact that for anyone looking to buy the club, come in and maximise uplift value via the ground, having a community group with a strong ability to veto anything is a bloody great red flag!

That is the point though, this isn't something that anyone does or will do. So why keep bringing it up as the club isn't being transparent? At no point did I see anything to say that they will publish a breakdown of all costs.
If we are being pedantic. He said this in April 2012 “If we do manage to complete the purchase of the club, members of the affiliated supporters’ groups will be appointed to the board. Fans will have access to financial and accounts information, and we’ll provide board meeting minutes too. Not one member of the group on the board No access to the financials apart from a spread sheet. If they had allowed them to see the financials and the accounts this would not be an issue. It really is splitting hairs saying they never said it. They said they will give access to financials and never said but only certain ones

And again why not just join the Trust? It’s not a closed shop?! If you want a say on the ground join the organisation that owns 50% of it, it’s not hard is it? It not just a random group with ‘strong views.

It doesn't say full accounts information, which is what some people are calling for, what makes up line by line the admin costs and then stating that isn't being transparent... Which is my point. Would I like to see more information, 100% but it's never been promised.

Ok that's fine. Simple question do you believe the admin fees will be all above board, do you think Austin, Hart Kiely etc are not getting any income at all from the club. Do you also genuinely believe that Halls mystery company is not being paid a penny by the club

" Fans will have access to financial and accounts information" Show me the admin expenses (part of the financial accounts btw). The "detail" provided has actually got less since the last set of accounts were submitted

Look if in a general election there was a requirement to pay £20 to vote I think you’d find those with the most extreme views either way would vote. I’m just saying why not open up the vote to season ticket holders and be as democratic as possible. It’s not about whether I join the trust or not.
