Hopefully if anything is going to happen it does so early, or at least the budget/planning can go ahead.
Then all we can hope for is that the change is for the better, and not just more of the same nonsense.
Agreed. The last thing we need is some protracted takeover where neither side wants to fund the club much beyond keeping the lights on.

Problem is if there is price wrangling to be done club is probably worth less as summer goes on if no preparation has occurred for new season which might suit a purchaser.... Sorry to say I remain to be convinced that anyone legit and with money would be prepared to buy without seeing the books, which if rumours are to be believed will unveil a shit show of shenanigans....

Even worse than Clem going is the wives take over. That would just about nail the coffin lid shut.

I cannot see anything other than a sale to one of the other cronies in the gang. Christ, I hope I’m wrong but I can’t see any legitimate parties still being interested once all the skeletons have stopped falling out of the first cupboard they open.

If it meant we stayed up next season and the new owners weren't crooks or crook adjacent, I'd snap your hand off at that tbh.

Not sure that would be on the cards now as Clem has the dilema that if we keep voting no on the ground redevelopement there really is no good way out for him. Would be the same for them

What’s this about the architect at the DRS consultation saying they plan to build houses on the green area behind the DRS?

Perhaps they meant offices for matchday guests

Probably the reason for the bodged fan zone. What they really want is to have the statue as the centrepiece of a housing development!

It’s not public open space - it’s private land owned by the JV. Resi development on that land probably would get planning if well designed because it’s a sustainable town centre location- they would need to provide or contribute to other open space / wildlife enhancement elsewhere either on or off site as morshead says. That’s the same for all development though.
