Nearly 27 million income for Wrexham is insane. I read somewhere that 52% of that comes from outside the country. (I.e the states) i saw our income was less than Walsall, yet our gates are higher than them which seemed a bit strange. Perhaps they have properly stocked food and drink and a club shop that isn't like a Sue Ryder.

I also imagine they get a lot from their stand sponsor that sponsors the one you can see the top of from the motorway.

The visibility of that sponsorship 24/7 probably brings in a bit of cash.

That income probably includes Disney+ and numerous large sponsorship deals with the likes of TikTok though doesn't it?  Add to that the merchandise for US lower league wannabees where it is the done thing to own a Wrexham shirt and claim that you are a real football fan.

I noticed there’s board advertising at the TE for Kelloggs. That’s all it says on the board. Weird.

They didn’t actually get much/any income from the documentary, believe it or not.

I also read that they’re not even being bankrolled to much by the Hollywood two, their money isn’t needed now as the income is so high.

Whatever they’re doing is bloody working, not that I’m jealous.  Crash

Its profile innit, I had reason to waste an hour in Wrexham last year (I think) and thought I'd have a wander up to the Racecourse as had never been there before. Even on a midweek day in, IIRC, February or March, there were yanks everywhere up by the ground whilst there were several at the station with suitcases suggesting they had stayed a night in the town, its a business model that most clubs (and communities) can only dream of.

Would be interesting to see from a club who do detailed accounts how much things like concessions/merch actually brings into the coffers, I suspect its not as much as one would expect, especially as the cost of living crisis drags on.

For some reason it annoys me in a disproportionate manner that they seems to be a consensus that Wrexham have always been well supported. Total rubbish

Walsall have decent conference facilities and promote/use them.

Agree 1000% they used to get 2.5k average back in the 80s in Div 4.

TBF I saw on Facebook someone had posted the results from a day in Div 4 in 1986.
We had more to watch us beat Aldershot than Burnley & Preston combined.
The difference being we were top of the league & cruising to the title whereas Preston were second bottom.

The Wrexham owner's financial input are currently loans, and they're charging interest on them too. They've been clever. As a result of the money pouring into them and Birmingham due to the differences in the way L1/L2 and the Championship are regulated, the EFL has changed how clubs can treat money from owners from next season on. Well bizarrely the day after the accounts for Swinton Reds up to 31 March 2024 were uploaded to Companies House the accounts up to March 31 2023 have been uploaded, the second time that amended accounts for this period have been uploaded, might be the business might be the accountants, who knows.....
