Shows he knows when to jump and when not to as well, be part of promotion winning momentum and ambition or spend your life robbing from peter to pay paul and just achieving the bare minimum to survive.  That's your real "change in mindset" right there..

Harsh reality is, Barnet are a club with much higher prospects at the moment, not due to club, location or anything like that, just purely down to the ownership and knowledge at the club as how to act like a professional football club.  An I can pretty much be confident in saying that without knowing anything about the ownership at Barnet.

Supposedly. I think it might have been crossed wires, some people were definitely offered the assistants job (to Gav) but I'm not certain that Brennan wasn't offered the big chair. Either way the man can clearly see a bad idea when it says hello.

It is true, but also true that we (our group) agreed we seemed to be finishing games a lot stronger than earlier in the season. We put this down to fitness.

We don't have access to the sports bra GPS stats of course. Maybe they are being more targeted in what they chase now - to my eyes it looks like they are chasing more - but that doesn't make it fact.

Strength & conditioning isn’t the same as match fitness.

Hypothetically a S&C coach could have all the players strong & with good cardio but if the actual football training is low intensity and / or rubbish - then the players are going to look sluggish in an actual game.

I’m not saying this is exactly what is happening at our club - I have no idea but just from my experiences playing football (and an extremely low shitty level) being strong & conditioned isn’t the same as being match fit.

I’ve seen people with trim defined physiques blowing out their arse 10 minutes in & I’ve seen people built like the Michelin man sail through 90 minutes with no issues.

Yeah they’re roles that usually can supplement eachother but some clubs merge the two or label them interchangeably. Bit different between each clubs.
