Definitely a dark place we're in. Hopefully we keep Holloway and stay in the league for the short term. I can't imagine the shambles a season would be in league one under this ownership if we managed to scrape a play off win.
Derbyshire Times yesterday printed an article about (alleged) playing budgets at all the teams in League 2 this season, there are some massive underachievers in this list, but it shows that if the budget is further reduced by the pitch/minimum wage stuff next season down to roughly the £1.8m then we will very likely be a bottom 5 budget next term.
Also it highlights those footballing heavyweights Salford, Colchester Utd, Fleetwood, Grimsby and Cheltenham have noticeably bigger budgets than us all, all being around half or even a third of our home average attendance (barring Grimsby).
