Are Spencer's comments made in his capacity of vice chairman of the OSC or his own personal view 🤔
If he has "ambushed" the OSC to lobby on behalf of the current owner(s) this needs to be pointed out accordingly.
This.

I think it’s good that Spencer, in his effort to defend the owners, has inadvertently reinforced a key part of our reasons for protest.
Trying your hardest is not good enough. This club deserves competence and progress.

Effort <> Competence
There is a nuance in this, as with most things in life. There are some well meaning people trying their hardest to keep the club functioning, of that I have no doubt. The problem is the glaring lack of competence employed (and by that, I mean people with the skill and experience in their roles) mixed in with a splash of seriously ethically questionable people (I can't say they ARE money laundering, but they ARE money launderers, for example).
I sometimes watch Ramsays' Kitchen Nightmares and think to myself how over produced it must be - there is no way someone would think they could run a restaurant just because they were good at being a Surgeon, right? The shit in the cold storage unit has been planted, right? The purchasing of items from a Supermarket isn't what they normally do, right? Watching STFC, we'd be a very good candidate for some sort of Football Club Nightmares, or Football Impossible.

https://x.com/SN1Insider/status/1878886269687902453?t=9D4CigKOJ0MKg11us-SdBw&s=19The issues with fans not being able to get in is the fans fault, if what this states is accurate. FWIW I know someone queuing outside the ground at 2.30 so that stinks.

I listened to the same section and that’s pretty accurate. It wasn’t a statement read out but one of the supporter club representatives had spoken to ‘Noel’ and was summarising the clubs response to various issues.
They said the seats were closed off due to condensation falling and causing ice. The club said they didn’t run out of gritting supplies and in response to fans saying it was slippery, the club said they had no record of any incidents/injuries which feels pretty dismissive to me…
Other stuff off the top of my head:
Stratton Bank end catering kiosk was closed due to card machines failing. Club don’t appear aware of any issues with the PA and supporters club have asked fans to share which areas it doesn’t work in so they can relay to Noel. Don Rogers queues put down to fans arriving late and not lack of staffing. Supporters club bloke called out supporters removing tape blocking the seats. Why were stewards not at closed off section/s? There was one at bottom of the stand explaining what was happening

Well, Cheltenham have found an exciting new admin error we hadn't thought of - a nice racist RT on their official account. They've been hacked, of course...

Haha - queues due to fans turning up - fuck me! In response, they opened more turnstiles - which is a pretty obvious admission they were not OPEN!!!!
In my rare journey to the CG on New Years Day it was very similar - arrived in plenty of time, queues back to the shop, several turnstiles not yet open. It's an obvious attempt at running thin on staffing.

This. Then blame the fans for not turning up early enough to make it to their seats for kick off.
