I was actually joking when I suggested that they would use Stephen Crouch again for continuity. Morfuni and co oversee a football club that churns through 2-3 managers a season, rotates about 5 physios
and overhauls the squad twice a season. The only thing that shows any continuity are the cobwebs.
We’ve no proof, but Standing has to be lurking somewhere.

Nahh mate gotta show us proof of funds...like the current owner did of course... I found it hilarious that his misinterpretation of a fan protest group was somehow inferred by Formuni as a consortium of buyers with millions in the bank to prove to him they were serious buys. Shows how disconnected he is. Any chairman worth their salt would actually have held a proper press call, fielded questions from the press and to also address the fact at least a quarter of the matchday fanbase have feelings of unrest and uncertainty. He wouldn't go running to his friends at Forbes AU or Sydney Morning Herald {I love that this is SMH, meaning ''so much hate''} to put a politically spun article out there. All he's done is continuously drive a wedge between himself and the fans...whilst simultaneously being responsible for helping many of us to fall out of love with the club. IF he had any morsel of understanding what the importance of this club means, and knew that it is absolutely imperative that this club never drops out of the Football League, then he would be actioning to rectify this. Not words and more bollocks ''we're trying our best'' doesn't cut it. Actions Clem, fucking serious actions. Start by sacking your CEO and investing in a proper one. Build from within the depths. Trouble is, you're a more like a shoddy construction gang. Running things on a shoestring as much as possible. I've met and {in the past} worked with people just like him. All the swathe and gab but none of the substance or end product. A ''cut and run'' type. I'm just waiting for when you finally do your ''cut and run''. We'll never hear from or see you again. But like many who have been left with an unfinished job, STFC will be in a worse state than when you obtained it. |

I can't imagine prospective buyers' due diligence gets very far sadly. I'd imagine Bromley's ownership and accounts are somewhat less opaque than Swindon's. |

Aye, sounds like the previous decision is being upheld so no further impact. Presumably the FA were pushing for a double demotion or something. |
