I'm not even quite sure what the trust could owe the club money for? A few hundred quid for sponsoring a women's game or hiring the legends maybe?

How much money does he think the trust have?

What you're doing there is making the mistake of having an atom of critical thinking, which you cannot possibly have to form that opinion.

I suppose Spurs will be building a statue of Aussie Ange tonight after scoring a phenomenal  3 goals versus Chelsea. These people need to be celebrated and lauded.

I see Swinton reds accounts have ben filed, say absolutely nothing (unsurprising as its just a holding co) but rather reinforces the on-going links to ghosts of Christmas past as they are prepared by an accountancy firm owned by the bloke who was Harding's monitor on the board when he had definitely just given Power all that cash as a gift or whatever.... I don't recall whether he was a mate of Powers as well or not?

SRC Advisory? They're a reasonably big company with a lot of directorships (company secretarial services), but there's definitely a link there with Standing and First Touch Pro Management.

That link might be as simple as "we both use the same accountant" but these things will raise eyebrows.

Stephen Crouch?

That's the badger.... I note he was actually a director of Swinton Reds in the past and is named in the FA ruling in the Standing/Power ownership investigation.

It appears (without much digging) that Crouch owns SRC Advisory. Coincidentally (!) he also lives in Hove, which I believe is Standing’s stomping ground.

This may simply be the club using accountants that have dealt with the club for years, for the sake of continuity.

That story you link relates to the Power takeover doesn't it when it was subsequently revealed that Crouch was only on board as Standings representative to keep an eye on Power and have the online banking details.... until Power sacked him off as a director and changed the password at which stage Standing and Power fell out and the house of cards began to collapse.

It may merely be a continuity thing its always surprised me that Morfuni seems to use a range of accountancy firms for each company, I would (possibly naively)expect him to consolidate it all into one company for any economies of scale it may deliver?

Apologies if this has been asked before, but, has anyone considered approaching one of the Swindon MP's and get something raised in Parliament?

Starmer is a football fan and has committed to clean the game up - this is a great example that an MP can use Parliamentary privilege to ask some pertinent questions about the wanna be gangsters running our club?

As I say apologies if covered elsewhere.
