He did do this at Grimsby but he has in a number of interviews say it was a mistake and has no interest in being on a board again.
He also said it didn’t work at Grimsby as he didn’t know the division and would only take a championship job in the future, yet here he is. What Holloway says and what he actually does are two very different things.

Desperation to get back in the game I guess. We're one of the only clubs dumb and desperate enough to swoop in for him.

I don't think leaving a company precludes you from socialising with your former colleagues does it, albeit I thought media guy had left as well so perhaps catching up for a bitch.

Probably preparing a claim Cheesy

Its no doubt been done to death and I've missed it somewhere, and I'm only looking 'cos what I supposed to be doing at work is incredibly dull and I'm clock turning till 5.

That piece linked above suggests that Austin was 23 in 2005 (which you would expect to be correct as its directly reporting court proceedings), however this piece https://www.totalswindon.com/sport/zavier-austin-swindon-town/ links Austin to TES Facilities Management (which rings a faint bell) and the CH entry for them https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/07111537/officers suggests that he was born in 1970 making him 54 which he looks much more like than 42....

Before anyone starts calling me a board apologist and all that jazz, the time has come for them all to royally fuck right off, but has it ever actually been confirmed that these are one and the same as there seems to be a massive fucking hole in the evidential timeline?

Still doesn't explain why he won't pass F&PP and his obsession with Pakistan though.

Zav Austin is very much the convicted Money Laundering Drug Dealer - one of the reports did get his age wrong I think.  He is therefore never going to pass a F&PP test because his crime can never be spent.  Pakistan is pretty obvious - a good way to make some money, even if fully above board.  The risk, given the location and the fact it is Visa related would open the risk of it not always being fully above board.

They’ve both left.

Callum ? hasn't left I believe he has taken over all media responsibilities now, I wouldn't put it past stfc to use Russell in an 'advisory role'  he does not seem to have rolled up at Salford

Given it’s stated position on wanting a new owner for STFC, would the Trust relinquish the JV on ground ownership if a suitable new buyer wanted to own the ground outright?

I'm guessing that they wouldn't but also the eady family would have protected that from happening.

I would hope not, because the next owner could just be another Power/Morfuni clone
