Head in sand
Comments of his money being used for future sustainability of the club, then says we are still losing 1m.
We are at worst case forecasting. Which I assume will effect the FFP.
Not incompetent. Look I appreciate you may know the plumbing business, but that doesn't make you a success in football

Still for the life of me can’t work out what he’s getting out of this. On the verge of taking a team out of the football league for the first time, losing money each year, and despised by nearly everyone. And he always responds by just saying how much he loves football.
Well if you love football so much do us all a favour and let someone take over who knows how to run a club
He’s so stubborn isnt he. Just sell

When is Holloway due to manage his 1000th game? Is it the Grimsby game on 21st Dec?
I can see Holloway walking after he gets to his 1000th game, he will claim that he cant work with the board and the 'unrest', promises have been broken that in turn will lead Gunning to take the helm.

I mean in fairness if Holloway hasn’t started getting results by December 21st moving on from him wouldn’t be catastrophic even if it was Gav in charge again. Damage will already be done.
Now, if he’s getting positive results & then walks….different matter I suppose

But Holloway has been trusted with our January recruitment according to our CEO.

I mean if we assume that the people in that role actually do the recruitment then I’d probably marginally trust Holloway judgement over Sandro & Jamie Russell

They could just put a list of available players in the little orange lotto machine and give that a go.

I honestly don't think so. I was listening to him today in the presser clippings on the LS Pod. He's nearly Trump level confident in his ability. That actually may not be a bad thing. Sometimes a bit of confidence can spread in the short term (OK not seen it yet). Obviously at some point you get found out if its missplaced.

I wouldn't trust Gunning to sweep the Stratton Bank and empty the bins, yet alone manage the team

Oh I dont doubt he seems confident in his ability but if he continues to struggle to get results over the next couple of weeks I can see him walking after he clocks up the 1000. After all, when he joined that seemed to be his main driving factor into taking the job. I hope I am wrong.

Some of the incompetence on display at senior level, looking at it from a business perspective, is truly baffling. There's some incredibly basic business practices that would allow you to manage the football club as a business sustainably, even if the football side is an untameable beast with minimal predictability.
There are two options with the regime; they're either trying to do things properly and in doing so proving themselves unfit to run any business due to incompetence, or they're deliberately appearing incompetent to disguise other things that are happening. With the issue of the unpublished shares sale, I am inclined to believe the latter, because nobody who is attempting to run a business properly would overlook something as critical as that. The question is what proportion of money that could be generated by those shares has been covered by the attendant fine. 'Cost of doing business' as some might say. Like people who accept parking fines on their supercars in mayfair instead of park them properly because it's more convenient and lets them show off a bit.
Having seen the implosion of some of the other businesses related to our owner(s) and their backgrounds pushes the agenda even further that there are ulterior motives at play.

We all know these things are happening but until someone comes out and says who they are and even hear from the companies unfortunately people will see these sorts of things as false rumours.
Would love it if people with a bit of respect that fans know were able to prove these things. Totally appreciate it isn't that easy just something i wish could happen
