They have finally released a statement about Jamie Russell leaving, without a single mention about any form of succession planning.

Doesn't ground redevelopment have to start soon? When I say soon I mean before the end of the season.

I get that they might not have been expecting it, but just a statement saying the search for a replacement will now begin.

Unless of course it's a case of Holloway wanting full control (which I've heard is the case), then say that.

Holloway cant be given full control - he has been out of football for 4 years no idea on current players, he's only signed a contract until the end of the season, we don't want to be left with donkeys (or any more than we have got already)

Will someone senior from the youth team be promoted again as Clem hasn't got a clue about football and what that type of role entails.

Really good social media response to this I think. My twitter timeline is a sea of orange, loads changing profile pics, etc.

Vote needs to be put to members in January if it stands a chance of making it before 3 years is up. Technically, it doesn’t need spades in the ground, just needs planning permission approved and contracts signed with developers to lift the 3 year clause.

Absolutely no way the council will, or can afford to, buy the stadium back.   It was always a very weak threat.

Fitton approaches Morfuni offering to help

Fitton is rejected because he's an outsider

Fitton pivots to wanting to buy Morfuni out and has fans behind him.

Clutching at straws perhaps.

My fear is Morfuni could/would use Fitton to simmer things down artificially.

What if Fitton is going to use Clem to his advantage? Like, worm his way in, find out who is really involved, then use whatever investors he may have lined up to buy a share with pre-emption rights. Maybe pay off/buy out any other shareholders {declared or not}, tell then to eff off, along with any hangers on. When he's ready, purchase some more shares off an already desperate Clem. Become majority shareholder, reveal your investment team, oust Clem via a legal battle, where he legally can only get back what he initially paid...so two hundred thousand ish. Fitton announces new ownership and smirks a jolly ruddy smirk, whilst saying ''gotcha''. Announces ''Race to 6k'' initiative for next season.

We can hope for much of that but the first couple of lines would be very ''Fitton''. He's a shrewd man, and more clever than Clem. I'm sure he would outwit Clem in a game of majority shareholder/pre-emption rights chess.

Maybe Fitton will simply continue watching it burn from a distance.
Why would any normal astute businessmen get involved with this circus.

He can carry on watching what he helped start then. I never thought he had bad intentions at all Andrew Fitton but he has a small portion of blame here.

It's great isn't it. Actually put a smile on my face a bit. Something is happening.
