But the trust were in no position to service the day to day running.

Neither was Jed as it happens

If I recall correctly they're was somebody that was going to buy but died. I assumed that was Nigel Eady but may be very wrong. How different things may have been

Every day I log in with the hope that someone has some ITK info on some interested party. Sigh.

I just have a feeling that if he hangers on are making any sort of money from the club,it will be a very long time before we see the back of them.

One thing is for sure, that if the reported 9M that Clem has put into the club during his reign is correct,it’s probably close to more than the actual club is worth.

This creates an additional problem!

I dream of the day this terrible ownership and his crooks are gone for good!

I very much doubt HE has put that much in.  His creditors from his other businesses and our creditors remain on the hook for a chunk of that.  The evidence is in the limited financial accounts of STFC and the court cases chasing him from Axis.

Don’t forget, he got the club for peanuts - £212,500 I think. Most seem to think the value of the club is around £7m. Even if he’s put in a couple of million he’d still be in profit. The only reason he’s not selling is he thinks there’s big money to be made from owning 50% of the CG. Although I don’t know how he would ever realise that.

Whether we escape the drop or not it’s completely unacceptable for a club like ours to be in a relegation battle in the basement.

With our fanbase, catchment area, JV on the ground etc I don’t see how much smaller clubs are attractive to buyers and we aren’t

It’s down to the current owners- Trusts argument is we could get worse ones come in but that’s where diligence and vetting comes into it.

Even fan ownership would be better than this-  look at Exeter

Spot on.
So downbeat with so many of our fans. The anccep of where we are and the general apathy is unreal.
This lot are incompetent and cannot be trusted in equal measures.

The Champagne will go off before that happens.
We live in hope.
I still maintain we are an attractive club to takeover however we have one hurdle this lot moving aside.
Detest everyone of them.

He claims to have put in between 6-7 million I think, possibly more now.

The debt is getting to be bigger than the clubs value

Edit: 3m to the investment company. Plus I guess 2.9 for the debenture . Plus whatever else

Don't forget we're part owned by a ton of dodgy fucks we didn't tell the FA about so they'll want their pound of flesh too.

This is the key issue.
We have no idea as to who owns what and what dodgy deals this lot have managed between them.

The picture I saw suggests it has had less spent on it than a kids play park.  I wasn't expecting much, but........

Yeah my expectations were definitely not high!

They want to do a job redeveloping the stadium though…

The paint on the floor in the legends lounge is already peeling apparently. I heard that Zav Austin was given the contract to do the work and they used wall paint on the floor to cut corners.

No clue if its true or someone was pulling my plonker.
