Bill Power was bought in via Mark Devlin due to their QPR links.
He met the Trust & they backed him. He was there front & centre

Exactly. Its very different backing a horse from finding your own horse to back

On Saturday I thought it looked like a kids park play area, just waiting for the swings & slides

Or a beach volleyball arena.

With the caveat of not knowing the full conversation, taken at face value that trust response is depressing.

Not expecting them to go through the A to Z of rich people and hope to strike lucky, but surely there are intermediary-types out there that you could be having conversations with to try and smoke out any potential parties, or to try and help move the process forward/start the process

And the tone of ‘it’s on the pitch that is the issue’ is just ridiculous. Everything that is happening on the pitch is a direct result of what is happening off of it

Bennett, is that really a genuine reply?

@dave. I read it to mean there isn't a quick fix to the underlying issues, but (literally) today staying in the league is all that matters.

I dunno. I want more from the trust but can't work out what or how to get it.

I make it 4 (maybe 5) separate fonts, still better than filling in letters with a permanent marker I suppose

Due to persistent issues with a third-party platform on match days, all ticket sales on a match day will now only be from the available ticket windows.

This means there will be no ticket sales in store on a game day and the club shop will remain open as normal for retail purchases.

Ticket windows can take cash and cards but we'd recommend supporters to bring the exact cash for their tickets where possible.

Going forward, we also encourage fans to buy in advance of matchday as you can purchase tickets online here, over the phone or inside the STFC club shop.

Club shop phone lines are open Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 10am - 4pm, in line with the store opening hours.

If you have any issues with your online ticketing account, please email queries@swindontownfc.co.uk.

Not making any excuses for the present shower but from visiting many grounds in northern outposts such boards invariably look as shite as ours does. I don't see what purpose they actually play any more with the interweb being at everyone's finger tips and at grounds they invariably look crap.
