Good from the Trust. That was a chunk out of someone’s workday or a late night to do that.
The progress is the call out for new owners to make themselves known. Whether they’ll see this or not, who knows. That’s for our friendly local journalists to amplify.

The writing was plain to see when Rob Angus was taken out of the picture and gagged Morfuni is a dangerous person who is clearly a wolf in sheep's clothing. Good on the Trust for their follow up letter to him (Morfuni and others) and the excellent news article from the Carlisle reporter.
Hopefully the journey has begun to remove the cancer that is eating the life out of STFC.
The only way to deal with this situation is to stop the revenue stream to the club. We are told the club is short on finances. well if that is the case things should happen quickly.
Now is the time to stand firm.

Does anyone know what the club is currently valued at? Factoring in of course the ever increasing directors loans that are owed to CM.

On the basis that Clem (in his own words) isn’t going to take a penny out of the football club the cost to buy would have to be the amount owed to Clem, plus the amount to pay off the other shares. However, I would bet that is not the case

Very good statement from the trust and credit must be given to them. Let’s just hope this is the first steps into the right direction.

There's probably not a lot of science to this. The value will be simply what someone else is prepared to pay. The existing owners will know (a) that their own valuation doesn't really mean very much; and (b) that continuing losses are unlikely to be recouped in a sale. So from that point of view, you could argue that the present owners will be incentived to sell before too long. The line below from the Trust's statement is hugely significant. Reluctant or not, it's now out there as a possibility. 'The Chairman has insisted he would reluctantly engage with any viable bidder that provides proof of funds...'

Not necessarily what the club is ‘worth’ but I imagine Clem would want to recoup the money he has put it + a little bit extra.
So, the sale value would probably be what the club owes Clem rather than any club related valuation

This is my point, though. The eventual selling price will not be determined by what CM thinks he deserves to recoup. The price will be what a 3rd party is prepared to pay. CM could (in theory) loan the Club £3m/year for the next 15 years to cover losses - but he would be very unlikely ever to see that money again.
This is why it will not be in the owners' interests to hang on in there - even if it means making a loss on their investment & selling for less than they would like - if they cannot see a path to making the Club profitable.

The Club being profitable is the icing on the cake - there are plenty of ways to make a football club pay it's way for you as an "investor" or other associated parties. Even loss making football clubs have their benefits to some individuals as well. Plus, losses do not always equal cash burn for the owner(s) - our short term creditors took a big jump in the last set of accounts.

No chance he's writing off debts. He misspoke.
I don't have a problem with recovering his cash. Assuming he genuinely put the cash in..
