Womens team now playing all league games at the CG.
So we are getting a new pitch, which is going to have even more games played on it. Can anyone see the logic here?

I got the dreaded letter yesterday and I thought I would be too high up in row P to be impacted but I am. Looking at this old Adver pic you can see the middle section has to come out to change anything (everyone is an expert). I just assumed it would be 3 or 4 rows to the height of viewing box. To lose 1100 seats is a huge from that stand and overall capacity. I get the revenue argument but displacing 20-25% of your season ticket holders is a revenue risk. I am sure if trust members vote it down then we will be blamed and threats about the ground being bought back. The obvious no money object fix would be a cheap stand for the Bank (like Rovers did last summer) and a proper two tier Townend with boxes between tiers (Walsall home end).

Not to be disrespectful to the women's team but i don't really understand why. Surely it doesn't make any viable sense in terms on ticket sales and the pitch?

Personally, I'm not against it. It will be a bit like our EFL trophy games where they just open one stand i would have thought. Minimal costs and a chance for a more 'family orientated' type day out. I've no idea what kind of crowds we'll attract, anywhere between 500 and 2,000 would be my guesstimate. At, what i imagine would be a tenner a ticket your bringing in between 5k and 20k a game. And if they bother to stock the kiosks and club shop that's extra footfall and money.
Clearly the extra strain on the pitch is a concern, but if that is sorted by this stitching thing, then why not. It's not like it's rugby matches.

The pitch stitching will mean less damage, so more games can be played.

The sooner this lot go the better
Hopefully they will be gone soon as we don’t want this team broken up just as we are building momentum

This pitch may be a hybrid which a lot of clubs have now, part grass part plastic which is legal in FA terms. Will wear a lot better,
