Maybe the Dan Kemp attempted signing was closer than he thought and he would have had that in his back pocket. There is still a very long way to go, we've got a manager in the door, (no sign of an assistant mind!) managed to retain players we've offered contracts to, got a talented youngster tied down to a contract and brought in 2 decent signings. I still don't trust the man and there is a lot not to like about the club. I agree that there probably isn't nearly enough positive news to placate a lot of fans but let's see how Captain plugwash spins it. |
