Yes, it's all pretty mild, but when you get personal abuse from people 24 hours a day on Twitter, here and Facebook it does grate a little bit.

Oh you should its eye opening, in this case purely for the fact it has revealled how many people I went to school with 30 years ago have grown into racist fuckwits - I suspect mainly as they have never left Oxfordshire!

It may be necessary for you, but I prefer the old school methods of talking to people out and about, work, football etc.

You're right but its not always easy to do.  The grinding down effect of 'keyboard warrior' wankers is more pervasive than a lot of people acknowledge, particularly the perpetrators.  As someone already said, a good reason to avoid FB and twitter.

Some of the comments on social media (and here) make me question whether there should be an intelligence test before allowing certain people to be able to access the internet..

Some of the stuff that keyboard warriors have chucked at Jay and his supporters, whether you agree with the whole banner shebang bollocks or not is just well and truly OTT IMO.
