Much as I'd love it, can't see the nasty party getting only 61 seats

I agree, it'll be nearer double that.  I'd love to wrong.

It says something when 120 Conservative seats is a disappointment though. My hopes have been systematically raised throughout this election campaign to the point where I will now only be genuinely excited to see Sunak losing his own seat. Or Truss. Maybe Rees-Mogg. And Hunt.

Did my online vote on Tuesday, unfortunatley a tactical vote for the Lib Dems just to oust the Tory wanker Marcus Fysh only because Labour are a wasted vote in South Somerset only getting about 10% of the vote last election.

Fun fact for protest votes - if you draw a penis entirely within the box of one candidate, that will be counted as a vote for them. So make sure your cock/shit covers a good chunk of the paper.

My local, The Prince Albert, Rodborough, Stroud, open from 6.30 this morning for breakfasts right through until tomorrow morning. I think that I shall wear my Made in Swindon shirt tonight. Walking football first though. Busy day ...

Just had a re-elect Tomlinson flyer through the door.

I thought that campaigning wasn't allowed on election day itself?

You can campaign on polling day, you just can't campaign *at or around the polling station* (and TV/Radio won't do interviews on polling day or broadcasts). So assuming you don't live at the polling station, no law broken.

Fair enough I guess.

Would like to think it was desperation but we'll see.

Still not got my postal vote

I see BadEnoch is already making murmurings about postal votes, plus we have Reform supporters babbling on about using a pen rather than pencil. Its all getting rather American (some of us are old enough to remember the whole Bush/Gore Chads business), I can see challenges galore in seats if its very tight!
