I get what you mean, but the logic would hold for the entire world to get to vote in US elections!
Not quite as the whole world are not us citizens

Kier Starmer was in Morrisons in Eldene yesterday and got a roasting off some woman. Couldn't even answer her questions and he's going to be running our country. God help us !
After 14 years of no answers, I can live with that. Despite being unable to answer a question from someone who I presume has benefited greatly from 14 years of pilferage*, Starmer at least appears to be a fully functioning human, which is a quality not seen in government for at least 14 years.

The pound crashing? For the last 6 years it has ranged between €1.12 and €1.16. Not sure how Brexit affects you if you live and work abroad unless you are moving goods? Have you got an example? yes it has been 1.12 to 1,.16 but it wasnt before that fucking refrerendum was it? ? cost me roughly 400 quid a month an example, try crossing the gibraltar border to work post brexit, got so bad i changed jobs.

When I moved to Ireland in 2003 the pound was over 1.50 to the euro.
When I moved back to the UK from Greece it was 1.12. Any downward change affects expats savings, pensions etc.

So in my constituency (Devizes & Melksham) the tactical voting bods are suggesting I vote LD to oust Donnelon. I’ve never voted tactically before, but would hate to see her re-elected.

Assume that will improve for you/reopen the option when Gibraltar basically leaves the UK and joins the Schengen?

Yep, as the old saying goes, you could stick a blue rosette on a pig in Devizes and people would still vote for it. With the new constituency boundary lines changing to Devizes & Melksham taking in areas out towards Bath & Corsham that are traditionally Lib Dem, if people vote tactically to get rid of the Tories then it could be a major shake up. As it happens I have not seen as much Conservative banners/posters around the Devizes area as in previous General Election years.

It won't leave the UK, but will be in Schengen, negotiations are nearly sorted, think the border will now be inside the airport. The issues are much deeper than that, it's more about pricing differences between the rock and Campo de Gibraltar. Been trying to set up a trading zone

I know, pointing out I don't lose my rights by not being in the UK. I remain a Citizen - in fact, I am pretty sure UK Citizenship cannot be renounced, and I have no desire to obtain dual Citizenship either.

I think if I was to become a Spanish citizen I would have to denounce my British one

This is an issue of trust and integrity
Sunak has broken lots of his promises
Starmer though broke every pledge to get elected Labour leader in 2020- he has zero principals especially around the Corbyn issue. He will do the same in govt

I can't seriously believe the Democrats over the pond are continuing with having Biden as their candidate. I didn't watch the debate with Trump but from the clips Trump basically let Biden talk himself out of the debate. He's not up for it unfortunately and I don't think the rhetoric that Trump is a convicted criminal is going to help unfortunately.
