I think they are all in, it's too late to change now.

Yep. And a resurgent Farage over here. Might be time to sack off social media!

After last night, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a full court press on Biden and his wife over the next few days to convince him to stand down. Even if some people would give him a pass, people voting will look at his performance and add another our years to it when making a choice. If he was a fighter, the white towel would have come in within the first five mins of the debate for his own safety.

Interesting. So they could, but almost certainly won't. Also, think I read he's already on a voting card in one state and would lose by default if they change him

I think he's toast (probably French toast as it's America) either way.

My neighbour telling me how it’s everyone’s duty to spend lots of time entertaining Tory canvassers, after I’d explained I’d tell them to fuck off.
She explained I was wrong. As for as long as they were with someone who won’t vote for them, the less time they have the those that will. She said an elderly friend gets driven to vote by them and even buys cake. I hope that’s true.

I saw an article today about the royal mail fucking up postal votes. I'm wondering how widespread this is?
I haven't even received mine yet so it's going to be a no vote from me.

It's school holidays north of the border, so lots of folk are away and postal ballots have been delayed. Mine arrived over the weekend though.

I was just having a look at my constituency and I think it's pretty much always been Tory and looking at the bookies odds, I don't think it will change this time. For me the interesting result here will be how Reform and the Lib Dems get on.
In 48 hours we'll have a new government, and whilst it's probably time for labour to 'have a go', there are deep routed issues in the country that I'm sure any competent government is going to struggle with.
For me, the landscape that exists in the States, where there is almost a hatred between left and right is seeping into politics here. People just seem more divided than ever, and that can't be a good thing.

Don't ever let the UK go back to a two party system (which it was donkeys ago, right?). It's rancid politics.

The Sun endorses Labour, which is a real sign the writing is not just on the wall but carved into it in giant letters.
Can't imagine Rebecca Brooks is absolutely delighted about that.
