Like you say, it's a snapshot in time so policies can quickly become irrelevant/superseeded, or affected by world events. I don't think I know enough about Labour's current policies to understand how different those 10 are; the ideas seem similar to me in most cases. Some are quite vague or broad enough to still hold? Particularly 5-10.

If Farage is good for only one thing it's for scaring the crap out of the Tory party

Don't forget Furlough from COVID has to be paid back....

Nearly everyone got almost a year's holiday on at least 80% pay and kept your job...

Everyone loved it then....

Nearly everyone eh, well our household (of 3) didn’t get anything, in fact the ONS report that it was one in four.
I’m not sure 25% is “nearly everyone”.

Neither did I.

I always said that there’s no such thing as a free lunch and eventually the money has to be paid back.

So it has proved to be right. Someone will have to pay for the billions of electronic money borrowed to pay for it. Of course one could argue that there should have been more money into the NHS and other services to bolster the response to a pandemic within the confines of the cobra remit. It never happened under either the conservatives or the previous ‘new labour’ administration. They all gambled that it wouldn’t be needed.

If either had paid heed to something that might happen and set aside a budget for it, fuck me, imagine the the furore trying to convince the tax paying public of that. You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t. So they didn’t. The flip side is Labour has ended up being the benefactors of the public ire.

Let’s see whether you’re all smiling in five years time. Like I said and I’ll say it again, I’m not voting and have now reached a point of I don’t give a fuck who gets in. I just hope my DNA lands a job next rear in another country. I’ll pack the shits case and drive him to the airport.

If you think we are fucked now, give it time and you may reconsider.

Lastly, I have the pleasure of a few hours with my cousin who emigrated to Australia in 1983, not seen him since. Looking back I’d have followed him had my circumstances been different. Would he come back? Would he fuck. And he agreed with me regarding the DNA. Even offered help to get him over there.

Do people vote for themselves or what’s best for the country even if it’s not in your own personal interest?

You’ve got to believe in who/what you vote for. Voting just because it’s not the Tories/Labour is a nonsense.

For me, that’s why people cannot be arsed to vote at all - nobody actually deserves your vote.

I vote in the interests of the most vulnerable person I know.   I'll be fine, whoever wins... for her, it's close to life or death.

I’m on holiday on Saturday and will be away when we get to vote, I’ve registered for a postal vote (over a week ago) and I’m now getting jittery that I can’t vote the scummy cunts out.

Any pointers on my options please? Am I able to sort out a proxy from abroad should I not be able to get my shit sorted in time?
