That’s what happens when you don’t play loan players. Look a better side with him in it. Good work Garner 👍

Defensive depth is very low now for sure:

Conroy
Odimayo
Hunt
Iandolo
O'Brien

Baudry (Injured?)
Grant (Leaving? Primarily a midfielder anyway even if he could do a job)
Minturn (Youth, at Chippenham?)
Winchcombe (Youth)

Not great when we play 3/5 at the back more often than not.

Concerning  is the lack of pace on the flanks and KKH is a massive lost.
Another defensive loan no doubt will follow.

More to do with Huddersfield and wanting to play him at a higher level.
KKH looking to already feature for Villa.

The risk with decent loan players and being under an embargo.

if he was playing every week though like he should, instead of persisting with the managers golden egg boys, I think he stays with us all season and Hudds don't call back unless he's gonna play in their starting XI

So much for Garner saying he wasn’t expecting any of the loan players to leave - that’s 3 gone now. Hope they had a contingency for that.

Think I’m going to write this season off as far as the POs are concerned. Get rid of the umbongo in the summer and start over - hoping the usual suspects stay, of course.

Agree, play offs looking our best chance now.

This squad at the start of the season looked more than capable of promotion. Choosing to use Tyreece Simpson as the only number 9 in squad looks like a big mistake in all. Garner done the same at rovers- used 1 number 9. Last few away performances have all had similarities sadly. Need a few more nasty experienced players to impose on other teams, as the likes of Conroy and Gladwin in the spine of the team don't scream imposing to me.

sorry, but the facts don't back this up. The majority of the games he has been involved in, he has started.

The season is heading in the wrong direction all of a sudden. We need a seriously good couple of weeks from Chorley. Crichlow was important. Playing a back three, he gave us a balance that the right footed centre backs can’t. Four good solid first teamers needed I think (left sided centre back, left wing back cover, striker and KKH a KKH replacement), or another year in this division. The problem with the one year contracts, is we may have to start all over again come the summer if we don’t retain the stronger players.

Wasn't he injured recently?

I thought he was being subbed on to protect him.

For sure, I don't see Reed and Williams staying in league two to be honest. Hope I'm wrong.

As I understand it we can only bring in ''loans'' or ''out of contract'' players this month. Going to be a tough one I think.

Is that Garners new nickname?
