just started watching the original series of The Prisoner - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061287/

brilliantly funny

I went to Portmeirion where its filmed the other week whilst visiting the late 1950's (north wales).  Interesting place.  One mans strange vision of something to do with his life.

I've been there too.  Very strange place, but rather beautiful in its own unique way.

Dispatches are doing a drugs in football feature on their program tonight. Hopefully a bit better than the Alex Ferguson/shady people investing in football thing a few months back.

Finished S5 of The Wire last night.

I don't know what I'm going to do with myself now I've got no more to watch.

You can find The Corner, which the blokey did before making The Wire. Lots of regular cast members doing main character or one scene roles.

or move onto Treme...

I watched the first series of 15 Storeys High last night, Sean Lock is fucking brilliant. I've also started on series 1 of Big Train, which despite having a cast containing Simon Pegg, Mark Heap and Kevin Eldon, I just don't find it that funny...

I've started to watch that and can't quite get into it at the moment. Only about 3 episodes in at the moment though, so probably worth perservering with a little bit more.

Saw the advert for that the other day, if it's as good as the first one, it will be great.

Big Train is the best sketch show ever. Stick with it, it gets better and better.

Sean Lock is the man, he's second only to Jim Jefferies/Jeffries in my opinion. I've been meaning to buy 15 Storeys High for quite a while, I really should do it! The show is apparently co-written by Mark Lamarr (under a pseudonym).

Hilarious Sean Lock clip.

Anyone else watching the new series of Curb Your Enthusiasm? Used to be one of the best things on tv but it's going downhill rapidly. He's just getting up to crazier and crazier shit which is even more unbelievable and far too predictable.
