Having 'Then' by the Charlatans coming on shuffle on the Ipod and taking me back to the times when I enjoyed watching Match of the Day.

(It was the goal of the month music a while back)

How long ago back? I don't remember that. Though it's probably me just not remembering anything other than Life of Riley.

Life of Riley was my favourite. To be honest I couldn't tell you when but pretty sure it was when Dion Dublin was scoring goals for Coventry. I'm certain it was used but I can't find proof!

There was a stage when MOTD was using some very trendy alternative music.  Most impressively I seem to remember them using 'Soon' by my bloody valentine.  That was weird.

"Teams who have played in the premier league" is the subject on pointless. I wonder if Swindon will be a pointless answer.

Nope. Three people said it.

Oldham Athletic was pointless and Sheffield Wed scoring 2.
