Ultimately TV companies will pick games that will draw in the biggest audience. For a lower league club Wrexham currently have a 'big' global appeal and so were always likely to feature. I guess it's the same way Man United and Liverpool always seem to be on the TV third round matches, even when they are in generally unglamorous ties.
Amazing how many people fail to understand it’s about viewing figures and nothing else, a Wrexham game will draw in a lot of casual viewers. Up until a couple of seasons back Man Utd had something like 50 televised FA Cup game in a row, for no other reason than their games draw big viewing figures

I just bought a round trip to Boston from London and a round trip from Boston to Nashville, cost me £420. I thought air travel was supposed to be extortionate right now, that’s a cracking price imo

I really enjoyed Boston when I went. Part of it had a European feel to it. (this stuff with history I guess) I went for a couple of days after going to New York, so it was a good foil to NY's madness.

Managed to bag one for a group game in Leipzig. Heading there by train. Maybe not the best way but better than flying. Quickest train journey from St Pancras to Cologne is around 4hrs 20mins.

I'd really like to spend some time in Boston but it's just a couple of hours layover on the way there, although I do have around 6 hours to kill on the way back so hopefully I'll be able to get out of the airport and look around for a bit!

Ah apologies I didn't read what you had written properly. Of all the American States, I haven't been to, places down south like Nashville, St Louis etc would be high on my list. We were due to do that when Covid happened, so something for the future I reckon. It will be interesting to get your feedback when you get back.

I once scheduled a 1 hour lay over in St Louis so I could see the arch from the air. Unfortunately there was thick cloud and rain so couldn't see anything out the window on landing nor take off! :-(

Ah that's unfortunate! Nothing you can do about the weather sadly, best laid plans and all that!

Not direct. (you can go via Munich) Only direct flights are via London. Trains are superb in Germany if you wanted to fly direct to another city and travel internally. (Try Dusseldorf for example)
