Probably not that trivial but definitely makes me beam with a humbling pride and probably will do for a long time...

Spending much of Spring/Summer/Autumn 2022 being a stand in for David Morrissey, Steve Waddington, Lee Ingleby and Kris Hitchen*. Having dialogue on a few productions and heavily featured in some very big Netflix Originals. As well as getting Jacob Fortune-Lloyd to agree to appear on my podcast.

Life was good to me in 2022. No reason why it can't push on even further in 2023. Except I'm still a bit miffed how the Film&TV industry is one of the few that are still having blanket LFTs and sometimes nasal swabs (ugh) carried out.

*Both Kris Hitchen & Steve Waddington are bloody hilarious blokes but equally sound fellas too Smiley

Nice.  Im still getting messages asking me if I can come back and work as covid co-ordinator.  Usually for casualty.

We wrapped on the undeclared war, the only show I did, in August 21.  Cant believe its still being deemed necessary.

Whilst they do a really great job (apart from those that love to insist on testing people's gag reflexes to the limit or taking enjoyment out of bringing on a nose bleed), I can't help but someone somewhere is making a lot of money for something that shouldn't be relevant any more. LFTs fine if it offers some form of "insurance" against people coming down with something (although there are other bugs about).

The other thing is the disparity it creates between cast and crew. A somewhat double standard is that all crew have to wear masks on set at all times but all cast don't (obviously cos they/we are acting/pretending) but if everyone has been cleared for a bleeding nasal swab and LFT, why then does that bubble have to half (or all crew) the people wearing masks. Makes no sense and just causes mild friction which is anything but when everyone is working together professionally as a collective to create entertainment.

Sorry, bit of a rant but you'll know what I mean Sax! But nice, I've just picked up some work on a biopic about a famous singer Cheesy

Very good JJ, I have never had that before but sounds awesome! We had Haggis, neeps and tatties last night so I was just clearing up the leftovers there for lunch!
