Picked up a Peugeot 7 seater to sight see before Monday’s return. Off to see the shipwreck from above and tour the island. Never driven on Greek soil before, Cyprus doesn’t count. Made it from Zante town to Laganas without mishap and stopped for fuel. Wearing my town shirt today as it is a Saturday.

Used to be a great bar in Laganas called ‘Piggy’s Bar’ still got the sticker they gave me on my wall,  probably not the same owners now or possibly even shut down, would love to know though.

Isn't tyre dressing just part of washing a car?

If you're into detailing but dealerships tend to do it to convince you the tyres are new

You couldn’t pay me enough to go on an extensive real estate crawl around this dump of a place to find out. Last day and we’re at some beach front pool bar emporium masquerading as an upmarket daytime cocktail place. We have been allocated a VIP cabana on raised decking coated long ago with a Ronseal decking finish that is long overdue a re coat. The bamboo and cheesecloth drapes try to make it look special. The music is to FUCKING LOUD and my feet are burning because I’m melting. I expect the drinks are overpriced and if the plane pulled up outside now I’d gladly get on it leaving everything behind except my pisspot, wallet, iPhone & iPad.

What gives you that impression? Next holiday is earmarked for February and is a tossup between Cuba (we have prices for that) or Cape Town as a back up. Different holidays give you different things.

Hugo Houle winning the stage at the Tour today.

As this is pretty niche, some context https://www.velonews.com/events/tour-de-france/tour-de-france-unsung-heroes-hugo-houle-wants-to-win-a-stage-in-memory-of-his-brother/
