Where did you get small new potatoes in February😀
Well we all know they were harvested in late summer early autumn, cleaned, dried and held in a temperature controlled climate with little or no oxygen. At least they were not referred to as ‘new’ potatoes. |

Having orchestrated the post funeral catering from the kitchen at LL towers to Supermarine, it came as a great surprise when the MIL decided that we needed to have gateau as part of the ‘sweet’ offering. So Mrs. LL dived into Iceland for four of the bloody things. They’ll end up in the bin I said confidently, no one eats that shit anymore. Along with a few leftover sarnies I’m currently munching on there is a huge piece of humble pie too, the four of them, yes we got four, they all went. Just goes to show.
